Nature Health West

Overview

The Nature Health Network is a collaborative effort across the West of England, bringing together various organisations to promote the link between nature and health. To support this mission, the Network required a user-friendly online directory that would make it easy for people to find nature-based health services and resources in their local area. Our team was brought on board to design and develop a website that could serve as a comprehensive directory, enabling users to navigate through the listings efficiently and access the right services for their needs. The goal was to create a platform that was not only informative but also simple to use, regardless of the user’s technical skills.

Challenges and Solutions

The project’s main challenges were organizing a large volume of data from diverse service providers across multiple regions and ensuring the website was accessible to a broad audience, including those unfamiliar with technology. Additionally, integrating external resources while maintaining the Nature Health Network’s brand identity was crucial. To overcome these challenges, we built a custom, easy-to-navigate online directory with advanced filtering options for searching by category, location, and accessibility. The mobile-responsive design ensured usability across devices, and a content management system allowed the team to keep listings updated and relevant for the community.
