We’ve worked with a number of town councils since we were founded nearly 10 years ago but we’ve noticed an increase recently in the number of new enquiries we’re getting for new council websites.
Since signing up a new council towards the start of the year we’ve been working hard on developing a new WCAG 2.1 compliant, fully accessible council theme. Taking all the functionality that councils need, we’ve created a theme to bring all of this together in one place, with accessibility in mind right from the beginning.
We’ve completely changed the way we develop to fully utilise the latest WordPress functionality and the latest releases of some of our favourite plugins.
We’re in the process of creating a website tailored towards just council enquiries and we’re hoping to launch this within the next week. We’re also working on a demo site that we can use to showcase the new functionality we’ve put in place.
In the meantime, if you’re a town or parish council and you’re after a new accessible website, then pop on over to our enquiry form and we’ll be happy to share with you our new theme and some more details.
